...well, I'll be damned...

Seems like, contrary to what I recently had to post in last comments here, I was actually able to get into this blogspot after all. It wasn't easy, but it could be done.

So... having that cleared, another logical question pops up. What do I use this blog for now?
As I can see, there's NOT a lot to contribute with - most rare stuff are definately 'flying around' out there, in one way or another.
And there's some REALLY good and devoted bloggers out there with an unbelievable vault of historical rock access and an impressive stamina and service beyond belief. A big salute to you all! You kept it coming. And coming.

For a start, I think I'll use this new access to enter the comments and give all participators a big thank, and some answers where that's possible and needed.

Again, all my old visitors - a BIG thank you for makin' blogging such great fun to do. You made this site.

I can't promise much from here. I've tried that before. So I'll just keep my eyes and ears open and we'll see where that brings us... ok!?

My friend,
I can't tell you how glad I am to have found you and your blog. This is truly a treasure. I have been searching high & low for some of these. Your personal descriptions are entertaining reading and brings me back to the days when I was buying "albums". Thanks again!

Can't begin to thank you for all your efforts in uploading some great and almost forgotten Canadian bands.
Being from Toronto, and seeing most of the groups play the bar scene brought back many very good memories.
I've worn out my original Wireless LP and was very happy to see the other two albums up here too. If you can find the HUNT albums, especially the first one, I think you'll be happy with that... they were formed from a band from ottawa called Dillenger with Brian Gagnon, and the drummer Paul Kearsy was Max Websters first drummer.
Wow I can keep going....

Thanks a lot for sharing the albums of Dicken's Mr. Big.

I bought "Photographic Smile" ages ago as a used and somewhat scratched item.
I would love to have a physical copy of this album. As far as I remember, this album has been released some years ago on CD in Japan only. Insane price.

It took me about 10 years to get a good digital copy. Thanks to YOU !

By the way, Mr. Big... it's one of my top 10 favorite bands of the seventies. Marvellous vocals, haunting melodies, good rocking stuff and wonderful ballads. Fantastic stuff. Never came across anything similar again.

Mr. Big (UK) and their first two LPs... truly fine and lost gems of rock's history.

THX again !

Kind regards !
