bargain bins around. I got my hands on quite some of those releases, but since I didn't listen a lot to that stuff back then, I don't know a lot 'bout them. So, I'll leave it for you to browse for the info yourself. To get this post up'n running today, I have to do it easy on the info. So, grab whatever you want, and have a good time!

MR. BIG
.
Earlier I've blogged their awesome debut album, 'Sweet Silence'. More info in the archives. Jeff Dicken, my all time vocal, writer & player hero. His few albums by Mr.Big & Broken Home are ALL among my best moments as a fan of good performed & played music. Anyway, here's a chance for you to hear it too, if you haven't already. They released 2 albums, and this 'Photographic Smile' album release contains more or less the half tracks from both albums. The good thing here is that my copy of 'Photographic Smile' are in a mint condition. Their second, 'Mr. Big', are not. But good sound anyway, with some bad scratches at the start of Side B that I couldn't get rid of in a few hours. 'Vampire'. I might try later, when having more spare time doin' this stuff. Awesome anyway, don't let that scare you to not have a listen... most people can't help but love it. Indeed true gems for the connoisseurs out there... :)

Most good old boogie Quo classics, are the work of Rossi/Young or Parfitt/Young. Here's his versions of some of their collaboration tracks through the years. Not very rockin', but fun stuff to have if you're a fan of those brits. I'm a big fan of their classic rocking stuff.

Thanks, but I have that CD. Signed... :)) Yes, it's great.
I know that Mr.Big released a few singles before their 'Sweet Silence' debut album. THAT would've been something. But seems impossible to get.
Sound Barrier are good. I have them on vinyl. Just 'Total Control'. A good choice!
thanks for the Sound Barrier stuff. especially 'Born to Rock'...as always great posts...
thanks
The Legend
First I've to say thanks for that great site.
I've found some informations to Sound Barrier on the net due to the fact I have their last record for myself...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sound_Barrier
awesome cover, looks great and the music is just as awesome. Thanx!!
Man, Thanx from Spain for your great and historical blog. These are hard rock lessons and memories. Many of them are true rare gems. I have particulary enjoyed the Kooga album. Even back then it was an album very difficult to grab. Melodic hard with loads of keys from the UK with later on Skin's singer. And now I can listen to it again!!!. Amazing job.
Thought this blog had gone the way of the dinosaur, but it pulled back from the brink. Awesome!!!!!
I saw Mr Big supporting Queen in 75, superb live, shame they didn't have a few archive surprises for us. And I agree on those singles, boy would I like to get my grubby paws on them!
I also rate the first BROKEN HOME LP highly
Hello, I haven't found this great blog until recently and I'm impressed with all great gems posted here, much very hard to find items here.
In one of the old posts I found a request for Lisa Bade. I only know of one album she did, and even though it's a bit "lighter" than most records on this blog it's quite rare, so I thought I'd help out with posting it:

(it also includes covers) Hope the requester sees it, and more people enjoy it.
Do you have the Sandy Stewart - Catdancer album from 1984? Thanks
Yes, I have that Sandy Stewart album, and I post it here including covers for this one too:

(if alocacoc feels that it's interesting - feel free to post them like the others...)
Thanx for the Steelover. Would love more Mausoleum albums.
Thanks for the Sandy Stewart album!!!!!
Do you also have the Sandy Stewart - Blue Yonder album from 1987? Thanks
I saw Sound Barrier at The Country Club in Reseda, Caifornia back in the very late 80's. Great band, and I wish they made a live album. That's where they truly shined--on stage.
-->D.Moose
mattias, thanks for Sandy Stewart Cat Dancer really appreciated...I tried searching for it for a while now, and all you get off google is the fact that Stevie Nicks is on it... goes to prove you should always go into the comments part on Blogs, one to say thankyou, but two to find even more lost gems...
The Legend
Can you post Mr. Big UK Rainbow Bridge & Seppuku if you have them? With thanks in advance if so...great band!!!

Re-up, please, Bob Young - In Quo Country 1986
